Military wife, wonderful mother, world traveler and faithful companion, Carol Ann Jeter, began her final journey on Thursday, August 21, 2014. Preceding her in this journey were her loving parents, John and Johnnie McCutchen; and brothers, Bobby, Frank, and Michael. Carol was a true Texas Irish lady; born in San Antonio, TX on July 5, 1939, Carolyn leaves memories to be cherished by her daughters, Judith, Tamara and Renee; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and her husband of 58 years, Bob, who loves her beyond compare.
As a proud American, Carol devoted much of her life, caring for her children and being supportive to her husband's military career, serving in Germany (3 Tours), Okinawa and the Philippines, as well as TX, AL, MS, and FL. She appreciated her life and was happiest when Bob served as Manager of Patrick AFB Marina/Yacht Club.
Along her life journey, Carol made many friends, who she remembered with fondness and love. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
Family will greet friends from 12:30 - 2 p.m., Thursday, August 28th at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Interment to take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to your local humane society. Condolences may be offered at www.davisseawinds.com.

My deepest love and sympathy goes to all of Carol's family. My heart is heavy. Carol was a very loving and beautiful women. Always talked about her daughter's , husband and grandchildren. I will really miss coming to work on Friday and not see her waiting for me in my chair. Carol did not like to miss her hair appointments for anything. My days were brighter seeing Carol every week for the past 8 years. Carol...your hair will forever be beautiful now. Rest in peace Carol. With love...............

Oh how sorry I am to see this. There are always special patients and their families that a nurse will never forget and you are one of them. Rest in peace sweet Mrs. Jeter.

So sorry to hear of the familys loss. The times I was around Mrs. Jeter I could tell she was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. I know she will be truly missed by her family. Again Renee and Robert and Sissy I know today is a hard Day but God is our strength and that's what you lean on now., Mr. Jeter nothing replaces a mate so sorry for your loss.
