I grew up knowing Tommy when he lived off the river road toward Lecompton. He was always a jolly, fun person. He got me out of a lot of pinches, with his welding skills years ago. Didn't see him much over the recent years, but when I did he always had time to ask about the family and talk and joke for awhile. I will miss his smile.

My heart goes out to everyone whos life he touched, he was truly a great man. Tom was the first person I met when my parents and I moved to McLouth in 1990. I was walking the streets in the early evening, Tom stopped in his patrol car and took me for a tour of the town, from there on, he became a great friend. Someone I could always turn to in good or difficult times, he always had an ear to bend and a shoulder to cry on. Peace be with you...

Tommy cannot ever be replaced, I will really miss his golly gees and gosh darns. Through several years Tommy was Chief of Police in McLouth and I in Oskaloosa. We did not ever have to call the other for assistance. We would back each other wherever needed.
Tommy I,ll miss ya.

Tom was the town cop during the time my brother and I were growing up. There were plenty of time he could given me a ticket or worse. (He always seemed to find me driving around town to see my friends before I had my actual license). He would also say Hi and make sure you be behaving yourself...RIP Tom...you will be missed

Tom and I haven't seen each other for many years. We both used to live on or near the River Road east of Lecompton. I worked in Topeka as a deputy sheriff for 30 years. I remember when Tom went into law enforcement, how much he loved it. He was a natural at helping others. He was nice to everyone. I will miss him, and his family will be in my prayers. God Bless You.
