Dear Family:

I am truly sorry to hear of Al's passing - I have known Al my entire life as he was partners in business with my father starting around 60 years ago or so

I have very fond memories of Al, especially a few times he went to Canada with my father and I and Dick Shaw, and the times that all 3 of them would come up to the St. Lawrence River and go fishing and stay on my fathers houseboat - I remember my father and Al and their cigars (A bit of beer was consumed as well if I recall :-)

Years later, I remember he and your mother in attendance when I got married and a great time was had by all

Will never forget the weekly Saturday trips to your house to "Drop Of The Work For The Accountant"

I was thinking of him while on the river yesterday and remember everyone having such a great time there

Al was a great person and is and will be missed dearly

Al, when you began doing my taxes 15 years ago I had no idea you'd become such a good friend. I'll always have fond memories of dining with you at Eva's, sharing conversation, food and a beer or two.

Condolences to Al's entire family as I bid farewell to one of the finest men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Al was a special friend of mine in our marching band over many years. He surely could play that trumpet of his just like a "pro". He was a "pro" at just about everything he did in life and was a very nice guy besides. He was smart, loyal, honest, funny, dedicated, steadfast and so much more. We need more people like him in our world today.
