Aug. 1, 1949 - Aug. 29, 2014 Gerald Jerome "Jack" Bourn, 65, of Moss Point, MS passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at home in Moss Point, MS with his family by his side. Jack was born on August 1, 1949 in Pascagoula, MS. As a both a skilled driver and mechanic, he was a valued motor pool specialist in the United States Army. He loved anything outdoors, especially fishing and picnics with his family. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny E. and Nellie Bourn; son, Frankie Glaskox; brothers, LC Bourn, Lloyd Bourn, Jerry Bourn, Norvel "Bob" Bourn and Toxi Bourn; and nephews, Larry Bourn and Terry Bourn. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Bourn; daughters, Tammy Vick and Candace (Lanny) Ray; grandchildren, Caleb Vick, Christopher Glaskox, Jessica Glaskox, Miranda Ray, Austin Vick, Sabrina Ray, Sarah Glaskox, Jacob Vick, William Ray, Marissa Glaskox, Matthew Glaskox and Zack Ketnor; siblings, Eugene Bourn, Benney Glaskox, Josephine "Jo Nell" (Alton) Taylor, Annette Bourn and Patsy Miller; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 12:00 pm with Bro. Everett Childers officiating. Interment will be held at Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Hurley, MS with Caleb Vick, Christopher Glaskox, Austin Vick, Jacob Vick, Matthew Whitehead and Zack Ketnor serving as pallbearers. William Ray will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa/Moss Point, MS is in charge of arrangements.
