DOLORES CAVELL PORTAGE, IN Dolores Cavell age 82, peacefully passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014. She is survived by her children, Michael (Michelle) Cavell, Patrick Cavell and Karen Riddle; grandchildren, Cassandra Cavell, Angela (Matthew) Hemphill, Michael Cavell, Thomas Cavell, Brittany Riddle and Tyler Riddle; great grandchildren, Matthew, Madelynn, Rosalie Hemphill and Cyle Cavell; mother in law, Angeline Dennison; sister-in-law, Esther Tonevich and many cousins and dear friends. Dolores was a lifelong member of St Mary of the Lake Catholic Church. She was an active member of The American Legion Post 100 and the VFW Post 9323 of Lake Station. Dolores was a loving mother and grandmother and will be truly missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel 7535 Taft Street Merrillville, IN with Rev. Pat Gaza officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Dear Cavell Family.....
I am so sorry for your loss. I was one of the nurses that worked with your Mom at Dr. Barton's office. I always enjoyed my time with her!
Spent many "unbusy" moments talking recipes....so happy to have her "Peanut Butter Ball" favorite!
You are all in my thoughts and prayers!
