Jane S. Thomas, age 85, of Deptford Twp., passed away on Wed., Sept. 10, 2014. Born in Salem, she loved to read and especially enjoyed knitting. Jane loved her family and adored her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Wife of the late Richard I. Thomas, she is survived by her daughter, Irene T. "Reenie" Crawford & her husband Reed & their children, Thomas Crawford (Audra), Rebecca D'Amour (Tommy), & Sara Hennessey (Kevin), her son, Alan L. Thomas & his wife Amy of Wenonah, and their children Jeffrey & Jill Thomas, and 6 great grandchildren. Jane was predeceased by her half-brothers & sisters, Mabel Horner, William Sheppard, Hazel Wood, Helen Hampton, & Dale Sheppard.
Family & friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, Monday, September 15th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St, Mantua, NJ where a service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com

Reenie, so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a special woman. Your dad and Steve's father worked together many years. We got to know her better and enjoy many meals when they and my in-laws lived in Dunedin.
