My dearest cousins, what a loss I feel. Marian has been such a special lady for so many years.
Your Mother wrote to me occasionally while she was still in the Navy, I was a teen and treasured those letters. She was a very special lady to a wonderful family though I haven't seen you for many years.
Please know my prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

Dear Laura and Family:
We were so sorry to learn about your mother. What a wonderful lady! She really lived life to the fullest and brought so much joy to those who knew her. We will always remember her being featured on television following her "Honor Flight" to Washington. You were blessed to have had her as a role model, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Our sincere condolences and prayers.
