Cindy; I can still hear your unique laugh, your gasps of excitement, so funny, lively, and high-spirited. You were truly one of a kind and will be missed! I am sure you are happy to be with your beloved Grandma, Aunt and loved ones and are now looking down on us wondering why we are making such a hoopla when you are in such a better place. We just miss you Cyn, and think you were taken too soon and can't believe we will not hear your special laugh until we see you again. We love you and until then, we'll remember all the great times we had with you.

Cindy, you made the whole world light up with your amazing smile and that laugh. I smile when I remember it. Let me start at the beginning. I can't even remember when we first met. I believe it was at Guadalupe Center day camp. We had no problems becoming friends you were always so nice. When we entered into high school (Westport High School, yes, we are tigers) all the Westside girls stuck together and boy, did we have the time of our lives! We all caught the bus on 23rd (as we called it). We all were so different but we stuck together like glue. We used to hang out at Joey's, 23rd or at the park; we loved to talk and giggle for hours. As we became adults, you and Joey got closer than ever. Joey has always been our bond and kept us all together. When I heard the news on Saturday I cried so hard, I was in disbelief. We had just spent the Saturday before last with you. You and Joey had made your rounds and ended up at Maria G's.
Your death was sudden and unexpected, but your her life was not faint. Your memory will always be with us, and your legacy will continue through us. Words can never fully express how much you meant to us, I hope they can still provide comfort, solace, hope and even inspiration. To those of us who are grieving. Cindy Koo Koo (we always called her that, Joey has names for all of us), Hug Lisa for us, you two watch over us all, the way you always have. Until we meet again my friend. I love you.
