Borgeest, Donald S. CLIFTON PARK Donald S. Borgeest, 80, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Community Hospice Inn. Born on June 16, 1934 in Queens, he was the son of the late Ernest W. and Ada E. Borgeest. Along with his parents, Donald was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Borgeest. Donald worked for the Operating Engineers 106 of Albany. He was avid Nascar fan as well as a boat and car enthusiast. He enjoyed playing bocce and other games with his friends at the Clifton Park Senior Citizens Center. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Beverly; brother, William; children, John Borgeest, David Borgeest and Donna Fantauzzi; grandchildren, Tara Fantauzzi, Hannah Borgeest, Melanie Borgeest, Luke Borgeest, and Devin Borgeest. The family would like to thank the staff of the Community Hospice Inn for their excellent care. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, 315 So. Manning Blvd, Albany, NY 12208 in Donald's name.
