Jul. 7, 1949 - Sept. 17, 2014 Robert Edgar Bowling, Jr., 65, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Connie Bowling; sister, Gail Thompson; daughter, Christy Vess (David); and two grandchildren, Caleb & Darby Vess. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 5:00 p.m. memorial service with Rev. Ralph Tucker officiating. Donations may be made to the American Diabetic Association.

I am sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Like Ms Jean Bob and I worked together but i also considered him a friend. I still work at the Corps and every once in awhile something will remind me of someone like Bob. My prayers go out to Connie and the family.

So sorry to learn Bob has passed on. I worked with him at the Huntsville Corps of Engineers for several years, and I called him my friend, not just a co-worker. May God comfort you in your loss.
