Jim L. Worden, age 62, of Naperville passed away surrounded by his loving family on September 16 at the Carolinas Medical Center in North Carolina after a courageous battle with melanoma cancer. Jim was born on June 18, 1952 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Jack and Barbara Worden and lived in Plainfield/Naperville area for most of the last 50 years.Jim was the beloved husband of Anita (Kamchins), loving father of Adam Worden; cherished stepfather of Nicole (Matt) Albanese and Carmen Abate; adored Grandpa JimJim to Wesley Albanese; loving son of Barbara J. Worden and dear brother to Charles (JoLynn), loving uncle to Carrie (Wade) Schmidt, Corey (Nicki) Worden and Katy (Pat) Hester and cherished great-uncle to many nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Worden. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23 with Services at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worthington Dr., Naperville with a gathering of family and friends to follow. Remembrances may be made in Jim's name to the CardinalsCare Children's Charities or to the charity of your choice.
