Curran, Janet F.
Janet F. Curran of Verplanck, NY, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014. She was 81 years old. Janet was born on September, 23, 1932 to the late Fred and Florence (Stuart) Burns. Janet worked for many years and retired from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY as an Academic Advisor. After retiring, she worked as a volunteer at the Thrift Store at St. Patrick's Church where she was also a faithful parishioner.
She is survived by her husband, Frank P. Curran, Jr.; sons, Frank P. Curran III and his wife Lesley, Doug Curran; grandchildren, Frank P. Curran IV and Destiny Curran. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Burns. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2104 from 4-7 pm at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 25th at St. Patrick's Church in Verplanck. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, also in Verplanck.

My deepest sympathy to the Curran family. Janet and I worked at St. Pat's thrift shop for many years. We shared many laughs and good times. She will be deeply missed, fond memories.

Frank and family,
