What a fine and good man was Bernie Resch. From the time I was a tiny kid until I was grown with children of my own, he was a friend and a gentle man. There was never a time that I ran into him that he didn't have joy and pride and laughter. I would gladly stop whatever I was doing to get a little time with Bernie. So glad that I knew him.

May God Bless Bernie on his journey home to join all who have already passed from old time Scottsville. Bernie was part of this close knit community for so many years and was always there to help out whether it be at the church, firehall or just about any where in town. God Bless Bernie as he will be missed by all.....
