Pamela (Laskaris) Ostman of Braintree, unexpectedly passed away October 7, 2014, at the age of 58. She was the beloved wife of John Ostman; loving mother of Christopher Ostman and his wife Carolyn of Braintree; dear YaYa of Wyatt Ostman; dear daughter of the late Leon and Constance Laskaris; devoted sister of Margo Simolaridis and her husband Danny of Braintree, Lewis Laskaris of Boston, the late Michael Laskaris; and sister-in-law of Valerie Laskaris of Quincy; loving aunt of Aris Simolaridis and his wife Tammy of Braintree, Bill Simolaridis and his wife Laura of Garland, Texas, Michael Leon Laskaris of N.Y. Also survived by many friends and relatives that will miss her forever, she was a shining light to everybody she met and will be lovingly missed. Pamela was a clerk for Verizon Corp. for 37 plus years and a member of Local 2222. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington Street, Braintree. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common Street, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Burial in Braintree Plain Street Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Associations, 10 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Dear John,chris,Wyatt and Carolyn..I ws shocked and saddened to hear of pam's passing. I am inflorida and just heard today. I worked with Pam for most of her time w/ Verizon and we had many great moments while she related Chris's childhood dilemmas. She was so proud of Wyatt and sent many great pictures of him.i will miss her smiling face and sense of humor. God bless you and send you solace. Love nancy quinn

The ladies here at Curves send their condolences . Pam was always sharing about her friends and especially about her sweet grandson whom she had the privilege to babysit for , she loved that little guy ! She is and will be missed .

John, Chris, Carolyn, Wyatt, Margo and the rest of Pam's family, I am so sorry for your loss. Pam will be missed by everyone who knew her. Wyatt has another angel watching over him. I am sorry I won't be at the services. You are all in our thoughts and Prayers.
