Luke "Butch" Leo Kieliszewski
Butch Kieliszewski, 77, Appleton, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 11, 2014. He was born April 23, 1937, in Stevens Point, son of Luke and Tillie (Kawleski) Kieliszewski. Butch was one of the first workers for Lakeside Packaging, formerly Work Adjustment Center, in Neenah. He thoroughly enjoyed his many years of work there and the relationships he made. Butch enjoyed traveling, listening to polka music, and rooting for the Packers. He also loved being around people and always found a way to brighten everyone's day!
Butch is survived by his siblings: Joyce Stroik, Larry, Cliff (Sharon), and Lorie Kieliszewski; nieces and nephews: Jeff (Sue) Stroik, Dan Stroik, Brian (Diane) Stroik, Sara (Ralph) Chojnacki, and Jill (Todd) Pierret; great nieces and nephews include: Abby (Scott) Kurz, Brian Jr. (Jodi) Stroik and their daughter Sadie, Courtney and Luke Chojnacki, and Kaitlyn and Sydney Pierret.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents; a step father, Ferd Willing; a brother-in-law, Clarence Stroik; a niece, Karla Kieliszewski.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
The family would like to thank the Clarity Care staffs at Van Dyke Road and Crestview Avenue for their care and compassion over the years.
