Boes, Robert Robert William Boes, aged 83, of Wyoming, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Clara; children, Sandra (Steve) Robart of FL, Allen Boes of AL, Sheila (Don) Mergener of AZ, Robert (Kim) Boes of Wyoming, MI; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, James(Rose) Boes; sister-in-law, Carolyn (John) Rolfe; and many nieces and nephews. Robert proudly served our country in the 25th Infantry Division, 25th Signal Company of the US Army during the Korean Conflict with a rank of Corporal. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus #4362, 4th degree, Assembly #2210. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Fr. Phil Shangraw presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysee-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with a vigil at 6 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus "Tootsie Roll Drive". Condolences may be sent online at www.mkdfuneralhome.com.

I worked for 7 years with Bob for Executone as a service technician, starting in 1969. We had our moments but I always respected Bob who stayed with Jack Fettig for years after that. My condolences to the Familty.

Bob is going to be missed very much around the K. of C. Council. He was always there whenever there was a special event, working hard to make it a success especially when it was the Tootsie Roll Drive. Bob we will miss you very much and know that you are up in Heaven with God watching over all of us.
