Lowe, Dennis Of Stockbridge, MI formerly of Michigan Center, MI, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 20, 2014. Denny was a hardworking husband of 41 years to Fran, and raised 9 children. Denny retired after 31 years of service from Ford Motor Company in 2011. Denny's passion for auto racing began at a young age. He started as a crew member, then a driver and found his true calling as a car builder. He finished his racing career as a championship owner. Denny was a master welder and an accomplished fabricator. Dennis will be greatly missed by both family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar & Thelma (Beach) Lowe. Dennis is survived by his wife Frances Suzzanne Lowe, sisters Margaret (Win) Norton, Katherine (Mark ) Zemer. Children, Michelle (Joe) Prestler, Christine (Greg) Fox, Carrie Mueller, Julianna (Kelly) Rose, David (Marybeth) Crandall, Matthew Crandall, Michael (Teresa) Crandall, Sarah Richburg and Suzzanne (Larry) Sinkovitz, twenty-three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. According to his wishes, Dennis has been cremated. The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home Friday, October 24th from Noon-1:00, followed by a celebration of Denny's life, officiated by the Rev. James Shaver. Contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
