Gilchrist, Mary Louise (Harden)
A loving mother and grandmother, Mary passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the age 88. Mary never met a stranger and had friends of all ages. Mary was known as "Nana" to her grandchildren and all of their many friends. She enjoyed attending all of the sporting events and school functions her grandchildren participated in. She was a chauffeur for the group of ladies from First Baptist Church who played dominoes on Sundays after church. She enjoyed everything she did and was always ready to go anywhere, with a smile on her face, and ready to make new friends. At 81, she started a new job as a greeter at Taco Bell where she made many more friends. She was a special lady who was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Villar, her husband, Tyler and granddaughter, Keely Elizabeth Villar; brother, Dr. Harold D. Harden and his wife, Dorothy, with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Alexander Gilchrist and her beloved grandson, Drew Villar.

One of the sweetest, dearest ladies, that I've ever had the pleasure to know. The last time I remember seeing her is when she came with her daughter Mary to hear me preach one sunday a few yrs. back. She was there to support me :) She was like that :) Loving, caring and giving... that is how I knew her and will always remember her. My days are numbered I believe. Soon I will be able to hug her and sit with her once again... for eternity... with joy. God is good.
