Casto Brown Obituary

Casto W. Brown, 80, of Galion, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Galion Community Hospital, Galion.

Casto was born in Banner Springs, TN on June 29, 1934 to the late Earl and Dorothy (Hall) Brown. He married Lois Beaty on June 30, 1962 and she survives him.

He was employed as a Machinist at the former McClain EZpack and retired after 40 years of service. Casto was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Crestline. He served in the U. S. Army from 1957-1959. Casto enjoyed woodworking, John Wayne, horses, tractors, cars, & trains and most importantly spending time with family and reading his Bible.

In addition to his wife, Casto is survived by his children, Vicki Hawk of Galion, Terri Gale & fiancé Terry Tupps of Galion, Crist & Julie Brown of Galion, Craig & Christine Brown of Canal Winchester, Curt & Rhonda Brown of Akron, Lynette & Sam Morris of Crestline and Cary Brown of Galion, his four sisters and brother-in-laws and two brothers and sister-in-law Novella & Gary Hobson, Susie Chapman, Betty & Charles Hedges & Shirley & Roger Fissell, Bobby Brown & Romie Steve & Karen Brown, his 18 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren.

Casto was preceded in death by his brother in law Fred Chapman.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M on Wednesday October 29, 2014 at Grace Baptist Church, Crestline, with Pastor Chris Spencer, Pastor Gerald McCabe and Pastor Jim Kessee officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline.

I don't know if u remember me or not my name is Linda Stentz im an STNA with First Choice and I had filled in for ur husband. I wanted to extend my sympathy on Casto death . MAY God wrap his arms around u n ur whole family during this difficult time in the days to come.
