Nahtygal, Helen, age 94, of Warren Mich. (formerly of Harrison Township and Roseville) was called home on October 29, 2014. Devoted wife to the late Stanley “Snappy”. Most loved mom to Chris (Jack) Moore, Linda (Mike) Brady, and the late Tom (Judy) Nahtygal. Cherished grandma to Marty (Kelly) Nahtygal, Mark (Kathy) Nahtygal, Matt (Janice) Nahtygal, April Russell, and Tracy (Troy) Downing. Proud great-grandmother of 12. Helen worked for the City of Roseville for 20 years, retiring in 1979 as Deputy Treasurer. She loved to gamble - poker, pinochle, Bingo, and casinos - and always said, “They’re playing my song” when hearing the bells and whistles of a winner at any slot machine. She loved life and it loved her right back. Visitation for Helen is on Sunday and Monday from 3-8 p.m. with a funeral service on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Wasik Funeral Home, 11470 Thirteen Mile Road, Warren. At Helen’s request, a luncheon and memories will be shared immediately following the service at Andiamo Ristorante, 7096 East Fourteen Mile Road, Warren. Private burial will take place on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at: wasikfuneralhome.com
