We really miss Joe here in the UH lab. Joe and I had an on going joke. Every time it was someone's birthday, he would tell me it was his birthday too. I believed him the first 2 times, based on my lack of memory. From then on Joe would wait a few weeks and then stop in my office to remind me to wish him happy birthday. We laughed every time. We had many laughs at lunch with Joe too. We would all complain about Cleveland sports in general but most of all the Browns. I am part Irish and took a trip to Ireland. Joe and I shared the same love of Ireland and all things Irish. I always prayed he would make it to Ireland. I know he is in a better place now. I hope his friends and family in time can remember the laughs and forget some of the pain.

To JOes family.... I worked with Joe for the past 7 yrs and I had some of the best laughs with him. I will always remember Joe talking about his hometown sportsteam knowing that I like different sportsteam. He was so strong in this fight even up the very end. I will miss Joe very much and his laughs thoughout the office. May God Be With you All.
