Dear Mr. Lutton, her sons and all of Mrs. Luttons family: My sincere sympathies go out to all of you. Both of my children were taught by her at Carmalt in first grade years ago and I am happy to see that my daughter Heather also wrote in. I had the pleasure to enjoy her company often since I was one of the homeroom mothers for both years that my children had her. I was in her classroom many times during the years and like the children say, I also was able to be invited to her home and enjoy the summer swim parties. What fun we all had. Mrs Lutton was a creater of fun for children which made them also want to learn. I also witnessed her deal with disability children and watch her approach to assure that they were given the best opportunity to achieve. I am so happy and proud to have had those years for my childen to have had her teach them and for myself to have gotten to know her. What an endearing sweet person who gave her all to everyone, not just the child. One of my fondest memories which I have to this day, are two small photo books, one for each of my childrens years with her in which she took pictures of my children engaging in activities in her classroom and outside in other classes. There were also pictures of me with my children as the homeroom mother with my kids. I kept them all of these years and routinely look at them with fond rememberence. This was her gift to the home room mothers at the end of the year. What a gift! Her giving of knowledge and friendship were on going and I will miss that. I found out of her passing from my daughter and her friend who both had her as a teacher and who both felt really bad. What a testament. To her family, please realize what an impact your wife/mother made to so many people in her life. I for one will never forget her for all of the things I mentioned but also for her laughter which I shared with her. I will miss her.

Mrs. Lutton, was and always will be one of my favorite teachers. I had her in first grade, at Carmalt (a long time ago). I have such wonderful memories of being in her class! She was such a giving and caring woman. I hope that I can be half as amazing a teacher as she was!
