Condolences to John's family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I met John this year and found him to be a kind, helpful man. When I needed assistance to close my pool, John volunteered and was there to help. He consistently volunteered to assist me with household chores and was always a positive presence. His untimely death will leave a void in this world.

I grew up with John since Ebenezer elementary school days and hanging out in the old neighborhood. I will always cherish the great times that we had as children and as adults. May God bless my dear friend and his entire family.

John was a great friend and incredible inspiration. The world lost a wonderful, kind hearted, caring and genuine human. He told me if I ever needed an organ, he would give me one if we were compatible. That's the selfless, giving nature John lived by. He was a gentleman, a scholar, a free mind and a true friend. My good friend J2R3 will be forever missed.

Taking a moment to say that my prayers are with the entire family. I went to school with john from elementary school through high school. We ran with different circles as we got older, but I always appreciated john's sense of humor and there were plenty of times that I found myself laughing at something he did or said. He was always a friendly guy to everyone. I probably wont ever forget our goofy inside joke from 7th grade world studies class. It wouldn't make sense to anyone and frankly didn't make sense to us, but it reminds me of him and makes me smile. He had become acquainted with some friends of mine recently and I was hoping to stop by and catch up with him. I was sad to hear we wouldn't be able to accomplish that. He will be missed and my prayers go out to everyone who knew him.
