Amber was born March 17, 1962 in Peoria, Illinois to James and Shirley (Slocum) Fellay. She married the love of her life, Bruce Kaufman, on August 9, 1980 at Christ Church in Woodbury. The only job that Amber ever wanted was to be a mom; the couple was blessed with four beautiful children. Amber was always active in her children's lives from confirmation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Graduation Committee, Band Boosters, baseball games, hockey games or theater. Christmas was Amber's favorite time of year; hosting family get-togethers and making everyone feel comfortable in her home; but her favorite moment at Christmas was watching her family open their gifts and watching the smile on their faces. Amber enjoyed gardening, watching and feeding birds, ceramics, quilting, crocheting, baking, and cooking. Most of all family, friends, and faith meant the world to Amber. She will be dearly missed.
Amber is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bruce of Robbinsdale; children, Morgan (Jara) of St. Paul, Jacob (Mercedes) of East St. Paul, Benjamin (David Kugel) of Minneapolis, Ashley (Kayla Bryson-Tucker) of Robbinsdale; grandson, Lucca; siblings, Lillian Fellay of Florida, Patti (Leroy) Enloe of Texas, Aaron Fellay of Texas, Jill (Jim) Schiller of Sauk Rapids; brother-in-law, Bryan (Debra) Kaufman of Omaha, NE; sister-in-law, Brenda (Eric) Brown of St. Cloud; father-in-law, Frank Kaufman of Cold Spring; four legged companion, Lola; and many nieces and nephews. Amber was preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law, Mary Kaufman.
