Ann Tuly Skibinski, 86, of Arlington, Va., and formerly of Sayre, Pa., died Monday in Virginia. Her husband, Bernard F. Skibinski Jr., to whom she was married for 57 years, died June 18, 2013.
Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late John and Mary Pasko Tuly, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School. She worked as a telephone operator in Scranton for several years upon graduation.
She enjoyed baking, cake decorating, gardening, traveling and her family. She was an active and faithful member of the Catholic church.
Surviving are children, Jeanne Ratcliff, N.Y., N.Y.; Bernard F. Skibinski III, Arlington, Va.; Patricia Adams, Kintbury, England; Maria Skibinski, Summerville, S.C.; Joseph N. Skibinski, Bristow, Va.; Sherry Chas, Reston, Va.; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ruzbarsky, of Dunmore; as well as nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, 322 Chestnut St., Dunmore, PA 18512. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery, Hollisterville.
Friends may call at the church Saturday morning from 8:30 until the service.
