Harriett put a touch of class into driving a school bus and made it an art form. I have thought of her often in life and patterned repoir with students after her ways. Riding Harriett's bus was rare for me, but always a great ride. See, the "Kingman Bus" was a serious challenge to every person who drove it. When I think of Harriett, I think of a grand lady. Once I rode all the way to 'pitlock to stay the night with her niece Donna and have often wondered where her life led. I want to salute the grand lady, Harriett Irish. Thanks for a great ride.

Harriett was such a special lady. I enjoyed our talks as I cared for her these past 2 1/2 years.her memories of family times and driving the school bus . She saw many children come and go on that bus. Her smile could light up the room. Harriett was a real advocate for the other residents as she attended resident counsel. She was their spokesperson . She looked forward to those weekly visits from Dennis on Wednesdays and weekend visits from Sue. I will truly miss her. Hold those memories close to your heart.

I was planning to visit with Harriet today and learned that she had passed
on this past weekend. I had been visiting with Harriet for the past 2 years and we became such good friends.
She was a treasure to talk with and I loved hearing her talk about cooking and driving the bus and her opinions on various issues. I so
appreciate the times we shared. What
a wonderful woman she was. I will miss her.

I was so heart broken when I heard the news of Harriets passing. She and I got to be friends while I have worked at Ross Manor activity dept. She would jokingly said "I don't know what I'm going to do with you, 'cept love ya!" She would always share craft ideas and recipes she found in her magazines. This past Thursday we had (what come to be our last) our gal chat and she was laying in bed and I sat in her wheelchair and we talked(as she put it)about "everything and nothing". I will miss her very much we were friends, we will meet again my dear!
