Services for Lerlean G. Benjamin will be at 11:00 am on Friday, December 19, 2014 at True Vine Baptist Church in Alexandria with the Rev. Dr. Solomon Shorter Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Garden Of Memories in Alexandria under the direction of Progressive Funeral Home.
Mrs. Benjamin, 74, of Alexandria passed away December 10, 2014 at home.
She is preceded in death by her husband U. L. Benjamin Sr; father Herbert Gullette Sr.; two brothers Daniel and Richard Gullette; daughter Billie Murphy; sons-in-law Terry Charles Holmes Sr. and William Cooper Jr.; godson Danny Joe Marshall; son U. L. Benjamin Jr.; grand daughter Shaterrica Johnson and great grand daughter Sha'Kira Miles and great grandsons Constant and Noah Woods.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories 2 sons; 5 daughters; 4 brothers; 5 sisters; her mother Irene Dove Gullette of Alexandria; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may view after 9 am on Friday at the church.
