Joel Alberto Montiel, 38, of Bartlesville, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014.
Private family services will be held at a later date, cremation arrangements were directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
He was born to the late Saul Gonzalez and Rosa Montiel, August 17, 1976, in San Salvador, El Salvador. Joel attended school in San Salvador and about 14 years ago he moved to New Jersey and then moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 2010. Joel met his soul mate Bethany Cindle De Broeck in Bartlesville and they married June 10, 2011.
Joel was employed by construction and paint companies and excelled in painting and was very meticulous and conscientious about his craft and the work he performed. Joel also loved to cook and enjoyed Sundays with his wife and son who he loved so very much and he will forever be a part of their lives.
Joel is survived by his wife Cindle and one child, Sabriel Da Marco Montiel of Bartlesville. He is also survived by his mother, Rosa, and two brothers, Saul Montiel Gonzalez and Joshua Montiel Gonzalez, from San Salvador. Joel was greatly loved by his mother and brothers in San Salvador and his wife's family. He is survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Lynn De Broeck of Bartlesville. In addition, he is survived by his brother-in-laws, Seth De Broeck, Dan De Broeck and wife Heather, and Chris De Broeck and his wife Linda. Joel is also survived by his sister-in-law, Melanie De Broeck, and niece-in-law Stazia De Broeck and her brother Clayton.
All of Joel's family members and friends will miss him so very much and he will always be remembered for the fine person he was and all of his kind, loving acts. Friends who wish may sign the online gueat book and leave condolences at www.stumpff.org.
