SIDNEY — Dalan Delane Day, 41, of Sidney, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014.
He was born on Sept. 5, 1973, in Sidney, the son of Odis (Irene) Day, of Sidney, and Sylvia (Denny) Davis of Versailles.
Dalan is survived by his five children, Dailan Day, of Sidney, Saxon Burdiss, of Piqua, Amanda and Amber Day, both of Sidney, and Deanna Day of Versailles; one granddaughter, Baylee Lichtenberg; one brother, Darren Day, and one sister, Denesa Goings, both of Sidney. He was preceded in death by one brother, Daryl Day.
Dalan was a jack of all trades, working various jobs as a plumber or electrician over the years. He enjoyed fishing, skateboarding and riding bikes. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his son, Dailan.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., with Pastor Fred Gillenwater officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Guestbook condolences may be expressed to the Day family at the website, www.cromesfh.com.
