Wesley Whitehead
Wesley "Jimmy" Whitehead departed this earthly life on Friday, December 19, 2014.
Funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday December 27, 2014, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Tallahassee FL, where he served as a Deacon. Burial will be at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
He was born in Tallahassee, FL on October 23, 1951, and also resided in Okeechobee, FL. He graduated from Leon High School Tallahassee, FL in 1970 and earned a B.S. Degree from Florida A&M University in Political Science. He was a retired educator in St. Lucie County Florida.
He is survived by his five brothers, Ervin (Mae), Robert, Ernest, Alvin and Tyrone Whitehead; two sisters, Viola W. Murphy and Delores Whitehead, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased in death by his parents, Richard and Gladys Austin Whitehead; and his brother Richard Whitehead Jr.

May God bring peace and love to you during your time of bereavement. A village without generations of family is like a tree without roots. Wesley was a proud member of the generations of Austins, Whiteheads, Robinsons and Cruels of Leon County.
