EDWARD BIBAUD Obituary

BIBAUD, Edward R. Of Pembroke and Stuart, FL passed away January 4, 2015 in his home after a long courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. He was predeceased by his wife Laura (Mitterando) of 55 years. Edward grew up on the beaches and boardwalks of the New Jersey shore where he met and married his middle school sweetheart. Ed enlisted in the United States Air Force after high school, where he was recognized as an All Shore athlete. Serving as a jet mechanic in Texas, Ed also captained the Perrin Pilots, a championship U.S.A.F. softball team. He worked as a Mailer in Newark ,NJ and later in Boston at the Boston Herald and Boston Globe. Edward served Mailers IBT local 1 as a shop chairman, Vice President and Trustee over his career. Edward love the beach and fishing with his niece Camille and her husband Ted on the Jersey Shore. Edward was at home skiing with the trailer gang, golfing with friends from Monterey Y&CC and the Myrtle guys or just hanging out at The Pond. He leaves his son Steven and his wife Cecile of Hilton Head SC, daughter Donna of Marshfield, son Robert and his wife Anne LaSalvia of Holbrook, and son Edward of Pembroke.Also survived by his brothers Richard of Kirkland WA, Jean Paul of Pittsburg and David of Fl. Predeceased by his sister Paulette Peddie. Edward also is survived by 10 grandchildren and step-grandchildren: Lauren, Andrew, Cassidy, Brendan, Alanna, Andrew, Abigail, Jessica, Anthony, Edward, great- granddaughter Arianna and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, PEMBROKE on Friday, January 9 from 4:00 to 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held, Saturday January 10 at The Shepherd Funeral Home at 12:00PM. For online condolences and directions, please visit www.

Sorry I couldn't be with everyone.Ed was great guy and brotherinlaw.Laura and Ed are together again I'm sure we can all see them smiling again.

There are no words to say how we really feel. Ed & Laura were are very best friends. We had such good times were ever we happen to be, so many laughs & late hours. Ed has gone to be with Laura now and they will watch over there family from Heaven. They were loved by so many. May Ed RIP. So sorry we are not able to be with you at this time.
