Evelyn Kay Bahnfleth, 70, of Oakford, passed away at 8:35 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, in Jacksonville.
She was born Oct. 21, 1944, in Springfield, the daughter of George and Pauline Burnett Loutzenhiser.
Evelyn is survived by three daughters, Ronda (Joe) Sidwell of Oakford, Gail (Duane) Friend of Jacksonville and Lori (Jeff) Lynn of Oakford; eight grandchildren, Amy (Gene) Gronewald, Jared (fiancé, Stephanie Kennedy) Lynn, Kaleigh (Brandon) Moore, Jennifer Sidwell, Tanner Lynn, Tucker Lynn, Kristin Sidwell and Jacob Friend; two sisters, Judy (Adrian) McCarty of Springfield and Jane (Bud) Bearden of Bloomington; and one brother, Paul (Valerie) Loutzenhiser of Sherman.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Loutzenhiser; and a brother, Jerry Loutzenhiser.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oakford United Methodist Church with burial 2 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Cemetery in Atlas. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Oakford United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Oakford United Methodist Church. Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg is assisting with arrangements.
