Not sure what to say?

I met Barb nearly 4 decades ago as Juniors in Girl Scouts. We ended up at the same junior high school, and the same high school. We lost touch until nearly 8 years ago, when we reconnected through Facebook. She would drop everything to help you if you needed it - she was a great friend and an inspiration. She will be missed! Gil and Jake - we are always there for you. Hugs to you both!

Barbara was my Division Governor in Toastmasters, friend, mentor & someone I truly respected & loved. I loved her optimistic attitude, sense of humor & quick wit. Barbara was one of the smartest women I ever met. We spent many hours sharing stories, laughing, talking & eating. She was always available to talk to, ask for her help & advice & loved to help everyone. I will never forget you & the memories will always remain close to my heart. Hugs, blessings & R.I.P. my dear friend & mentor. Thanks for the memories!

Barbara, you touched my life in such a wonderful and positive way. You encourage and supported so many Toastmaster functions--just last year you were a judge at my club contest. Thank you for all that you did.
Gil, Jacob, and Sara, thank you for sharing Barbara with all of us. I have enjoyed each moment I spent with her and with you when you accompanied her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember how quickly Barbara responded to an email request I sent to all District Governors in our Toastmasters' District, and how she kept in contact with updates on her actions. I did not know her up until then, but she made a point to introduce herself to me at our next event. From that point on, I considered her as more than a fellow Toastmaster. She had a natural knack for pulling you in as a friend. I offer my condolences to her family and to those who were touched by her special spirit.
