Aunt Bev, You were a bright star in our lives, A grandmother to our son, a second mother to your nephew Steven, a sweet mother-in-law to me. I will forever treasure our times together listening to all of your life's stories. Hearing your story of how you and your sister sat up in the balcony at church both picking your future husbands, who happened to be the Alter Boys that day. I loved your laugh when we were having a good chuckle together. You were a wealth of knowledge on many levels. A friend to many family pets. I don't know of to many people who would get up every morning to cook there pup dog liver and cottage cheese, but you did. I know Ma'ko and Jackie the cat were waiting at Heavens gate for you. I'm glad you have made it to your next life's Journey. We will forever miss you, You will always be alive and well in our Hearts. We love you Aunt Bev, Steven, Austin and Carrie.

Beverly Bergin was my supervisor in a summer job at the courthouse in the 60's. I was a work-study student from PSU assigned a project to re-file thousands and thousands of traffic citations from numerical to alphabetical. (This was way before computerization of files). Mrs. Bergin made a very tedious job pleasant. She was friendly, upbeat and positive. I could always hear her approaching by the click-click-click of her spike heels on the marble floor of the courthouse. She was smart, confident, feminine, and successful -- a real role model for a young woman. Yet, she was young, too, in her late 30's. I can still picture her when I think of her. To her family, I am sorry she is no longer with us, but please know that she created a most positive impression on me that has lasted many years.

Dear Jean and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom and Grandmother. Very interesting to see that your mom served in the military, I did not know this and how wonderful and proud you must be. I now know the pain you are feeling since my Mom passed a few days later. Hope they are both resting and at peace.
God bless you, Debra Remmen
