Duckworth, Kenneth Dale 6/21/1943 - 1/25/2015 Age 71, died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the McLaren Regional Hospital. Funeral Services will be 3 PM Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, MI. Michael McCluskey officiating. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 3 PM. Kenneth was born June 21, 1943 in Jefferson City, MO to parents Clifton Earl and Verna (Escue) Duckworth. Ken graduated from Utley High School in 1961, he attended Arkansas State University, graduated from Mott Community College with his Journeyman's Card. He retired from General Motors Skilled Trades as a tinsmith after 31 years of service. Ken was a member of the Eagle's Club and loved to golf and coach baseball for the kids. Surviving are wife of 51 years Sharon (Wilkinson) Duckworth; son Brian (Tina) Duckworth; grandchildren Samantha Derengowski and Damon Duckworth; sister-in-law Andrea Duckworth; many nieces and nephews; in-laws Gary (Betty) Wilkinson, Pat (Michael) Mahalak, Pam (Donn) Dowland, Tim (Rita) Brown. Preceded in death by his parents; daughter Dilynn Duckworth and brother Glen Duckworth. Special thanks to Dr. Scott Plensdorf and the wonderful Doctors and Nurses at McLaren Hospital and McLaren Hospice. Ken, you will be missed so very much. I feel very fortunate to have been your friend. You were quite the character, always coming up with something and catching me off-guard....like telling me you hated getting your mail and I said, "If I lived closer, I would get it for you." You would say, "Well that would be nice"..Sharon said, "He only pulls up in the truck and grabs it", and we laughed. I will miss your visits and your smiling face at the Eagles Club. Thank you for crossing my path...until we meet again, dear Mr. Duckworth, We love you!
