Snow, Toni Sue; Breckenridge, MI. Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015, following a lengthy illness; age 42 years. Toni Sue Zimmerman was born January 14, 1973, in Alma, MI. She graduated from Ithaca High School, Class of 1991. Toni married James A. Snow II, March 7, 1998. He survives her. She had been employed by St. Louis Housing Commission, Hemlock Semi-Conductor and Dow Corning Corporation. She was very active and involved in her girls lives and served as a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader; in her Daughters 4-H club; Relay for Life, and Girls on the Run. She previously served as President of the Breckenridge CO-OP Nursery School and currently served as President of the Breckenridge Youth Basketball Assoc. Toni loved to travel and do scrapbooking. Surviving besides her husband, James, are her daughters, Elizabeth and Emily; her foster parents, Bob and Emma Brandal of Ithaca, MI; her sisters, Jody, Heather, Samantha and Rebecca; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Yuwana Snow, Wheeler, MI; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was predeceased by her mother, Theresa Carol Zimmerman. The Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill. Rev. Lee Rhodes will officiate with Burial in Lafayette Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Such a strong woman who faught with everything she had until she couldn't fight any longer. Gone too soon, but is now at peace.
Jimmy, Elizabeth and Emily, I'm so sorry for your loss. We will continue to pray for you, as we have over the last month. Cherish the memories you have of her. She will remain alive in your memories and in your heart forever. You are not alone, you have many friends and family here to help you and support you in whatever is needed, lean on them to help get you thru this storm.
RIP Toni...thank you for your friendship and for being an inspiration for anyone who needed an example of how to be strong. You fought with grace and dignity and never allowed anyone to feel sorry for you. When others would've crumbled, you stood tall. You touched a lot of lives and I am grateful to be one of them.
