KINNELON — Services were held for Joseph R. Infante, 84, of Montville and Jupiter, Fla., who died on Monday, January 26, 2015. He was a former resident of this community.
Born in Irvington, Mr. Infante lived in Kinnelon for 25 years before moving to Montville and Jupiter. He was the owner of Airoyal Manufacturing before retiring. Also, he was a graduate of St. Peter's College, Jersey City, and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Services were Saturday at Our Lady of the Magnificat R.C. Church, Kinnelon. Arrangements were by the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or the Crohns and Colitis Foundation.
Mr. Infante is survived by his wife, Vilma; his son, Robert; his daughter, Sarah Muir; his sister, Florence; his nephew, William; and his grandchildren, Andrew Pfluger, Tatiana and Emmett Infante, and Addison, Gavin, Mason, and Talia Muir.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Carol Pfluger; and his sister, Norma Foerderer.

Vilma -- My deep condolences for you and your family. Although I was years and miles apart, I do still have very fond memories of visiting you when I was very young. You and Joe were always most gracious to this little kid from Pennsylvania. With sincere prayers for God's peace.
