Frances Moore Taylor FOREST CITY - Frances Moore Taylor, age 91, of Forest City, North Carolina died Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Hospice House. She was born September 7, 1923 in Lexington, NC and was a daughter of the late John and Pearl Moore. Frances was a homemaker and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Forest City and the Love Circle Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Carlton Taylor, Sr. Surviving are her sons, A. C. Taylor, Jr. and wife Jaymie of Milledgeville, GA, Larry Taylor and Steve Taylor both of Charlotte, her daughters, Carolyn Porter of Charlotte and Nancy Abel of High Point. There are four grandchildren, four great-grand-children and one great-great-grandchild as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and a group of longtime close neighbors and friends. The funeral will be held at eleven o'clock Saturday in the First Baptist Church with Reverend J. Anthony Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from ten until eleven o'clock Saturday in the Family Fellowship Hall of the church prior to the service. The family respectfully request that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, 211 West Main Street, Forest City, NC 28043 or Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
