HARVEY VIOLA
Was born in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania in 1921 to Marie and Thomas Harvey and passed away on Feb. 1, 2015, Longview, WA. She was the only girl in a family of four children, with one older brother, Tommy; and two younger brothers, Robert and Donald. Viola's parents and brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce; son-in-law, John; granddaughter, Christina and her husband, Kurt; grandson, Guy; and great- grandsons, Dominick and Nicholas. After graduating high school and attending business school, Vi married Johnny Mishko. After two years of marriage, Johnny was killed during the Normandy invasion. Vi joined the Navy in honor of his death and to do the only thing she could to help, serve her country. She later married Red Tuley and had one child, Joyce. Her passion was learning, returning to school on many occasions to pursue new interests. Vi graduated from the Carnegie Mellon School of Business and later went back to school at age 50 to pursue a new career. Prior to retiring, she taught English as a second language at a community college. A loving Mother, Daughter and Grandmother, she will be missed and always remembered with love. In her honor, please send donations to your local Hospice. Visitation Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at COPELAND'S CORAOPOLIS, 867 Fifth Ave. Burial will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery with military honors.
