PEORIA - Mary B. Einfeldt, 63, of Winsted, Conn., formerly of Peoria, passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at her home, after a long, brave battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.
She was the loving wife of Ken Einfeldt for 47 years. She was born April 24, 1951, in Illinois, the daughter of the late Creighton J. and Phyllis (Rook) Gray and sister of the late Dennis Gray.
Mary and Ken owned and operated Ad-Comm. Ink in Winsted and Canaan for 23 years.
She enjoyed the ocean, reading, crafts, fishing, gardening, caring for the wild birds (especially the humming birds) that she fed, walking in the rain and listening to thunderstorms. She dearly loved her family (especially her grandchildren), friends and customers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Michele Petrunti and husband, Albert; sister, Linda Tilley and husband, William; grandchildren, Savannah, Nicholas and Brady; niece, Amy and husband, William; and great-nephew, Ryan.
Friends may call on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main St., Winsted, Conn., from 5 to 7 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to VNA in Torrington, Conn., or The Center for Cancer Care in Torrington, Conn.

It is with deep sadness that I have just learned of Mary's passing. Always kind and supportive, she was a true friend. My heartfelt condolences to Ken, Linda and the rest of Mary's family.

I attended Mary and Ken's wedding in Peoria, IL many years ago. Ironic that we both landed in CT many years later. Rest in peace, Mary - my thoughts are with her family.
