May 2, 1921 - Feb 16, 2015 Annie M. McGill of Warrior, AL passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert L. McGill; parents, Bessie S. Leath and Sam A. Stanley; a brother, Harold Stanley; sisters, Mary M. Calvert, Maudie M. Stanley. She is survived by her daughter Catherine M. Tressillian (Danny); Sons, Donald G. McGill and Thomas A. McGill; grandchildren, Lindy M. McCallam, Glenn McGill, Lisa A. Brown, Christopher Thomas McGill, Robert D. Tressillian Jr., Billy J. Tressillian, and Robert L. Tressillian; and 14 great grandchildren. Born at home in central Mississippi, she then moved to Montgomery and worked the pickeling machine at Bama Foods. She moved to San Bernadino, California working on airplanes during WWII and later moved back to Birmingham to marry Robert McGill. She worked for a grocery store from the late 50's and retired in 1983. She suffered from Alzehimers' for the past 8 years. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, February 20th at 1 PM at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale, Al. The family request that donations be made to the Alzehimers of Central Alabama, P.O. Box 2273, B'ham, AL 35201 or The American Heart Association. The family would also like to thank the staff of Cullman AlaCare Hospice for their loving care, especially Jennifer, Blair, Joy, Amy, and Stephanie. Rev. Tim Rice will officiate the service.
