KENOSHA - Age 79, formerly of Racine, passed away Saturday evening February 14, 2015 in Sheridan Medical Complex. He was born January 11, 1936 in Paris, KY the son of Theodore and Georgia (nee: Curtis) Hamilton. Calvin was a supervisor for a plumbing company and also for a Lawn and Garden Center over the years. He also serviced his Country in the U.S. Air Force. Calvin enjoyed grape soda, strawberry shakes, home cooked Sunday meals and having a hamburger at Kewpee’s. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Survivors include his cousin Elmetta ( the Late Champ) Kelly, nieces Pamela Foddrell and Michelle Caldwell, and a nephew Mark Williams, great nieces and great nephews, and cousins; Stephanie Wilks, Linda Myrick, Hosea (Carolyn) Moten, Junevela (Douglas) Gray, Jonathon (Sabrina) Moten, and Kimberly (Brian) Livingston, along with a host of friends. Calvin was preceded by his parents, a sister Jaunice Williams and two brothers; Roy Lasley, and Herbert Lasley, and a cousin Bonita Moten. The family will receive guests on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Strouf Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bobby Vinson officiating.
