Marty was a lifelong resident of Colorado, he was a hardworking construction worker and one of the "Best" billiard pool players "Ever".
He has joined his son, Marty Leon Atencio who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marie G. Atencio, his loving daughters, Beverly Trujillo and Cindy Morasky of Colorado, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
Marty has so many friends who love and will miss him.
Rosary will be recited, 10:00AM, Friday, February 27, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1830 S. Corona Ave. followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30AM.

We want to offer condolences to Marie and family. We met you guys when we first moved to Colorado. We were your neighbors. We lived on Weber. My dad Jake Peralta (deceased) and mom Cruzita Peralta who is 95 still remembers you. I was 14 then May God be your comfort during this time of sorrow. Cruzita and Pauline Peralta Bustamante.

I miss you already Uncle..
I remember how much you loved peanut brittle, Grandma Atencio's cooking and Aunt Marie's, how you would visit Grandma almost every day, how you were the stable one in the family. Everyone knew where you lived and you and Aunt Marie were always hospitable.

My heart felt sympathy to you all. Marty was always a kind and respectful person. Had a great sense of humor. He gave me helpful advice when I lost my mom. He Loved his wife Marie, and his children very much. Was a two fisted Bingo player and a good friend to so many. He will be missed. Beverly, I haven't seen you in a long time. So sorry for your loss.
