God Saw You Getting Tired
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered,
"Come to Me"
With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best
Uncle Ben, I'll miss you! Love, Linda

We were so sad to read that Benny had passed away. He worked for us for almost 9 years before he retired. He was a true gentleman and an expert machinist who was always happy to teach others his tricks of the trade. He was one of a kind. From the employees at Duncan M. Gillies Co., Inc.

If Roses Grow in Heaven
If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
place them in my uncle's arms
and tell him they're from me.
Tell him I love him and miss him,
and when he turns to smile,
place a kiss upon his cheek
and hold him for awhile.
Because remembering him is easy,
I do it everyday,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
Love you Uncle Ben,
Donna Kelleher

Even though "Uncle Benny" was not my Uncle, he made you feel comfortable enough to call him "Uncle Benny," which I gladly did. Enjoyed my conversations with him and will remember his smile!
