Joey and Family, You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of Your Precious Mother. To my dismay, I just learned of her passing at Mass this Sunday morning. She was such a special and devoted person. I would see her at Mass every Sunday no matter how hard it was for her to get there. I feel so badly to have missed her reviewal and Funeral Mass. She will surely be missed in our neighborhood. With much love and sympathy.

Kathy and I go back decades when both of us were very active in the Association for Childhood Education (ACEI). She was a warm compassionate advocate for children's educational rights throughout the whole world. She attended numerous conferences gaining any bit of knowledge that would assist her with her "special children." Goodness, years and years of trudging things to bazaars and markets so that what little profit was earned went to assist Minneapolis children with hearing aid batteries or mittens. I shall miss her deeply. Her love and compassion served as an example for many of us "younger" teachers in Minneapois as well as the nation with her work in her various organizations. Peace and prayers to you her family.
