Preceded in death by parents, Richard & Effie Tidwell Hughes; husband, Eugene King; sons, W.E. & Melvin King; twin brother, Leechy Hughes; brothers, Buford, Rye, Everett, Leonard & Ernest Hughes; sisters, Bertha Stinson, Nettie Tywater Pruitt & Bessie King.
Survived by sons, Joe (Brenda) King & Lester King; daughter, Estelle (Gary) Denton; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren & one great-great-grandchild; daughter-in-law, Anita King.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Sparkman Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Sparkman Cemetery Fund.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday and any time Monday prior to the service at Williamson Memorial.
