Nancy Robertson Grumann, 88, of Atlanta died February 28, 2014. A life-long Georgia resident, she was the daughter of the late Edd Morris and Mary Lizzie Cook Robertson of Mansfield, GA. Mrs. Grumann was predeceased by her husband, Harold M Grumann, her son, Harold M Grumann, Jr., and her cousin, Alva R. Byrom. She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Mary and John Haney of Roswell, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Grumann of Marietta, five granddaughters, and seven great-grandchildren: Anna Catherine Hayno (Chris), Matthew, Addie; Emily Haney; Anne Gordon (Devin), Emma, and Jack; Mary Lee McMillan (Ben), Mac.; Sara Stallings (Bradley), Mary Anne, Halle.
Mrs. Grumann attended E Rivers Elementary School, North Fulton High School, and Agnes Scott College. She was a fashion model for Rich’s department store, an active volunteer in her children’s PTA and school activities, a garden club member, and an accomplished bridge and mah jongg player. Mrs. Grumann was a volunteer at the Swan Coach House, and she enjoyed many seasons of the Atlanta Symphony.
Mrs. Grumann’s funeral will be On Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 11:00 Am in the Chapel of Roswell Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Mt Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Mansfield GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.
