Juan Martinez

1946 - 2015

Juan Martinez, 68, of Kenosha passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Juan was born on July 8, 1946, in Mexico, the son of the late Juan and Antonia (Cortez) Martinez. He married Maria Pina on Feb. 9, 1972, in Texas.

Juan was employed as a supervisor at Panasonic for many years. His hobbies included collecting old cars, taking things apart and putting them back together, watching soccer, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Maria; children, Maria Guadalupe (Rigo) Pantoja of Texas, Geovanni (Vivianna) Martinez of Villa Park, Ill., Ivan (Brenda) Martinez, Evelyn (Julio) Ambriz both of Kenosha; 10 brothers and sisters; 15 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Juan was preceded in death by a sister, Silvia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday March 21, 2015, at St. Mark Catholic Church at 10 a.m.
