MARILYNNE MCCLANAHAN Obituary

GREENVILLE — Marilynne McClanahan, 93, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Wayne HealthCare.

She was born Dec. 25, 1921, in Greenville, Ohio, daughter of the late Harry and Kathleen (Gasell) Minnich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John McClanahan; sons, C. Scott and Steve Seibert; grandson, Jonathan Armstrong.

Marilynne was retired from Dayco. She graduated from Greenville High School class of 1939 and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Greenville.

She is survived by her daughters, Charilynne Armstrong of Gig Harbor, Washington, and Susan Anderson-Seibert of California; grandchildren, Kim Seibert, Doug Seibert, Dave Seibert, Dan Seibert, Donnie Seibert, Steve Armstrong, Andrew Anderson; and great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Services have been entrusted to Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Shriners Hospitals for children. Condolences may be left for the family at www.oliverfloyd.com
