Gloria Spratt Obituary

Gloria Spratt 1939 - 2015 Gloria Spratt passed away peacefully on March 12, 2015, with family by her side following a sudden stroke. She was born in Dallas, Texas, in September of 1939. Gloria married her husband, Tom Spratt in June of 1959, and they recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. They raised a daughter, Sheila together. Gloria attended college at Southern Methodist University in Dallas for two years before leaving to become a full time wife and mother. Gloria later returned to college and became a registered nurse. She spent several decades caring for others at hospitals in Texas and Pennsylvania. She loved to travel. She and her husband explored all the national parks in the Western states up to Alaska. Gloria also loved flowers and animals, and she treasured the time she spent with family and the many close friends she met in Sun City, church and clubs. Gloria is survived by her husband, Tom; her daughter, Sheila; her sister, Marian Cain; her niece, Marcia Crone and Marcia's daughters, Kimball Bromley and Kirby Crone.
